The Good Samaritan Fund: Donations for a Good Cause.

Would you like to donate and volunteer in Martinsburg, PA? If so, call us at The Village at Morrisons Cove today. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves.  In Jesus’ teachings, your neighbor does not necessarily mean the people who live next door – a neighbor is anyone in need.  At The Village at Morrisons Cove, it is our mission to reach out to and assist our neighbors.  We established the Good Samaritan Fund over 40 years ago to help offset the cost of caring for residents who do not have financial resources.  When you give a gift to The Village, your money goes directly to the Good Samaritan Fund, and we use it to care for our residents in need.  This could mean paying for medication, activities, haircuts, and other things we may take for granted.  The fund also can go toward wheelchairs, beds, and electric lifts.  Whatever our residents need to assist with their daily lives, the Good Samaritan Fund provides it.

Help us to continue this important ministry.  Help us to love our neighbors as Jesus commanded.  Consider giving a gift to The Good Samaritan Fund.  If you have any questions, call us or fill out the convenient form on our contact page.  Our knowledgeable staff is more than happy to answer your questions or address any concerns you may have.  Give us a call today: (814) 793-2104.

Give to The Guardian Program

Established in 2016, The Guardian Program strives to enable The Village to continue caring for and protecting the elderly, including the ones who no longer have financial resources.  The Guardian Program helps to increase our current endowment fund.  Due to decreases in government funding and added healthcare regulations, we sometimes find ourselves unable to care for everyone who comes to us.  Contributions to our endowment fund would ensure a sustainable flow of income for our residents and their care.

If you are interested in receiving more information about The Guardian Program, fill out the form on our contact page, or give us a call!  Our staff is always happy to assist you.
